Cells, Slime, & Structures

An Interactive S.T.E.M. Program for Students

About

About the Program

Cells, Slime, & Structures is a program created by girl scout Ambassador, Emma Schrier, as her Gold Award project. This is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn and requires at least 80 hours of service. Her project consists of two parts. The first was comprised of 5 afterschool programs at her town's middle school, where she led engaging experiments to expose students to various areas of science. The second part of her project was creating STEM kits, which will allow students to explore science with reusable activities and challenges. These kits have been donated to several libraries, camps, and organizations to reach a larger audience. This website includes videos and printable instructions on the experiments within the STEM kits and how to do them. Hopefully, this will foster curiosity and encourage a love of science for everyone who gets involved!
